Eagle Quilt
On December 2, 2011 I started my 2nd quilt for my brother as a Christmas gift. I probably would've had it done by Christmas if it hadn't been for unexpected house guests. It's really hard for me to sew with two children that are 3 & 4 years old. Because after a little bit they start to fight over who does what. But one quiet afternoon I ended up with both of them in my sewing room and had a pretty non-stressed hour of sewing. I would sew the block and I had one cut the thread when I was done and the other would hand me the fabric as I needed it so there's about three blocks in the quilt that my two of brothers grandsons helped with. The third grandson who is thirteen helped me baste the quilt. So I sewed when I could and finished this on January 8th, 2012. He really liked the quilt, and I don't think it turned out too bad. I think it ended up being about 65" x 78". I found the pattern online not sure of the name or who made it originally but knew it would turn out real nice.
